⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Contract: 12-month contract

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach or PE Teacher to join Fordbridge Primary School from January 2027 on a 12-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport, physical education and helping primary-aged children develop their skills, confidence and love of physical activity.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive sports and PE sessions to pupils from Year 2 to Year 6, helping children develop their physical abilities, teamwork, confidence and enjoyment of sport.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism and ADHD. Some pupils have dedicated one-to-one support in lessons, and you will need to be confident in working collaboratively with support staff to ensure activities are accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

• Holds a relevant sports coaching qualification or has appropriate PE teaching qualifications.

• Has experience working within a primary or secondary school setting.

• Is confident delivering sports and physical education sessions to children from Year 2 to Year 6.

• Can manage groups of children effectively and create a positive learning environment.

• Understands the importance of inclusion and supporting children with additional needs, including autism and ADHD.

• Is enthusiastic, reliable, patient and passionate about helping children reach their potential.
