Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary: £160 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Coventry that is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher. The school is committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and scientific understanding.

The school is looking to take on a Science Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Science Teacher will plan, prepare and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lessons, assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, maintain excellent classroom management and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism

• Experience teaching Science within a UK school

• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Strong planning, assessment and organisational skills

• A positive and adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
