A Quality Inspector job opportunity has become available within an established manufacturing business operating from a modern, highly automated facility in Coventry. Supplying assembled products into a demanding manufacturing sector, the organisation is committed to maintaining strong quality standards throughout its production operations.

The successful Quality Inspector will earn a salary of £34,000+ and benefit from an 8% employer pension contribution and 33 days' annual leave. Working closely with the Production, Quality and Warehouse teams, you will carry out regular inspections to ensure finished assemblies meet customer specifications.

Quality Inspector responsibilities include:

• Carrying out daily product and process inspections across manufacturing operations.
• Checking finished assemblies against customer specifications and quality standards.
• Identifying, recording and reporting non-conforming products.
• Managing quarantined parts and ensuring rejected components are processed correctly.
• Recording inspection results and supporting corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Working closely with Production, Quality and Warehouse teams to maintain quality standards.

Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience:

• Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience completing product or process audits.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and the confidence to report quality concerns.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office to record and report inspection findings.
• A technical qualification or equivalent practical manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
