Production Operative

Ryton-on-Dunsmore
£15.87 per hour
Temporary to Permanent (13-week temp to perm)

Shift - Day Shift - Monday to Thursday - 06:00 – 18:00 – 46 hours per week!

Overtime: Paid at Time + ¼

The Role

As a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in the manufacture of specialist composite products, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the production process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
• Preparing materials for production
• Rubbing down, stacking and reworking finished products
• Manual handling and moving materials safely
• Performing basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Supporting colleagues across the production department as required
• Working to production targets while maintaining excellent quality standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking and take pride in producing quality work.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• A strong work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• Experience working with composites or paint (advantageous but not essential)
• Your own transport due to the location and shift patterns
