Job Description:

Experienced and professional Multi Trade Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.
My client requires an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their property maintenance team, working across domestic properties in Rugby. The successful candidate will have strong plumbing skills as their primary trade, with good carpentry skills as a secondary trade alongside other general maintenance abilities.

Location: Rugby
Pay: £20.00 per hour (CIS or Umbrella)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Multi Trade Operative

* Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied domestic properties.
* Undertake a wide range of domestic plumbing repairs, with plumbing being the primary trade.
* Complete bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs.
* Identify and repair leaks and carry out general fault finding.
* Repair and replace taps, toilets, basins and other sanitary ware.
* Complete waste pipe and general drainage-related plumbing repairs.
* Carry out general remedial plumbing works.
* Undertake associated carpentry repairs where required.
* Complete a good proportion of repairs on the first visit without requiring additional trades.
* Work independently in occupied properties while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
* Use basic IT systems to record completed works and relevant information, with in-house training provided.
* Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

* Strong plumbing experience as your primary trade is essential.
* Good practical experience in domestic plumbing and responsive repairs.
* Confident carrying out bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs.
* Experience repairing leaks, sanitary ware, waste pipes and drainage-related issues.
* Good carpentry skills as a secondary trade.
* Multi-trade experience with the ability to complete a range of repairs independently.
* Experience working within occupied domestic properties.
* Ability to complete repairs effectively on the first visit wherever possible.
* Basic IT skills - full training will be provided.
* Must provide your own basic hand tools.
* Power tools will be provided.
* Full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
* A company van will be provided for work purposes only.

* Optional on-call rota available.
* £200 additional standby payment per week when on call.
