Because of continued demand of their services, this employer is actively searching for a number of Mechanical Pump Technicians to join their team on a permanent basis.

The BIRMINGHAM based workshop is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Walsall, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton and Tamworth and Redditch.

For the Mechanical Pump Technician role, we are searching for individuals who possess:

• IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar)
• A strong level of experience working in a similar role, such as Maintenance Fitter, Service Engineer, Mechanical Technician etc.
• Strong knowledge and level of experience spent working with Rotating Equipment/Machinery - ideally Pumps but we will consider candidates who are well versed in Gearboxes, Turbines, Compressors, Valves, Fan Systems or Generators

Working Hours of the Mechanical Pump Technician:
Regular day shifts working 40 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday - 07:00 -to 15:45
• Friday - 07:00 to 14:30

Basic Package of the Mechanical Pump Technician:

• Starting Salary: Up to £42,588.00 (£21.00 per hour) depending on experience
• Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
• Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
• Pension Scheme: 9% Combined Contribution (5% Employer / 4% Employee)
