Job Description:

HGV Class 2 Driver Hourly rate of £17.93 per hour PAYE, 10 hours paid per shift. HGV Class 2 Driver working in the drainage sector (clean water) – 6 weeks work starting Monday 21st September, with the potential to become a temp to perm. Full training provided.

We’re recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a leading drainage contractor working near Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a hands-on, varied role offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and a potential route into a permanent position.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicle. The role combines HGV driving with hands-on drainage support work across the highways network.

Key Duties

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicle (Combination Unit) - Full training provided.
• Work alongside an operative to support storm drain maintenance (clean water)
• Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 50 hours per week
• Day shifts only: 7am – 5pm

Pay

• £17.93 per hour (PAYE)
• Equivalent to £46,600+ basic based on typical hours
