HGV Class 1 Drivers – Minworth

Our client will guarantee you 5 shifts a week between now and the end of the year. Even if they dont have work for you, you will still be paid 8 hours.

Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Minworth.

The Role

The work involves delivering refrigerated goods to supermarket RDCs, typically completing just 1–2 drops per shift. There is no manual handling or handball involved.

• Average shift length: 8–11 hours
• Deliveries across the UK
• A range of start times available to suit your availability:
  • Days: 04:00–07:00 starts
  • Afternoons: 11:00–16:00 starts
  • Nights: 17:00–22:00 starts
• High-spec, modern vehicles
• Straightforward work with minimal manual handling

This is a popular opportunity due to the quality of the vehicles, straightforward nature of the work and flexibility around start times.

Pay Rates

• Days - £18.50
• Nights - £20.00
• Saturday – £21.00 per hour
• Sunday – £22.00 per hour

All rates are PAYE and inclusive of holiday pay.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
