Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a market-leading engineering company to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing Coventry Factory. 

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Coventry 
Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 DOE + 20% Shift Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of specialist production equipment and site facilities. This position offers a varied workload, real autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute directly to operational success.

The Role

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of manufacturing and site infrastructure equipment. Working closely with production teams and fellow engineers, you will help minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support future engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
• Support equipment upgrades, engineering projects, and new installations
• Coordinate and manage external contractors when required
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• A recognised electrical engineering qualification
• Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities
• A good mechanical understanding
• Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A continuous improvement mindset
