Customer Service and Sales Advisor
Location: Coventry, CV5 – Meriden Business Park (fully on site)
Salary: £26,436.68 basic, plus commission (£29.5k OTE)

We are recruiting a Customer Service and Sales Advisor for a well-established experiences business in Coventry. If you are already good on the phone and you would rather sell something people are genuinely pleased to buy, this is worth a look.

This is a Customer Service and Sales Advisor role where every call is an inbound one from someone who already wants what you are offering – a spa day, a spa break, a treatment for a birthday or an anniversary. No cold calling. Your job is to listen properly, work out what they are actually after, and guide them to the right booking.

This Customer Service and Sales Advisor role is a Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm role. Add one Saturday in three (9:00am–5:00pm) and that is your week – no evenings, no Sundays.

It is based at Meriden Business Park, just off the A45 and minutes from the M42, with free on-site parking. 

What you will be doing

• Handling inbound calls and live chat enquiries about spa days, spa breaks and treatments
• Listening for what the customer really wants – relaxation, a celebration, a gift
• Giving confident, impartial advice across a large range of venues and packages
• Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Managing amendments and cancellations properly and calmly
• Keeping every booking accurate in the CRM

What we are looking for

• Solid experience in a phone-based customer service or sales advisor role – contact centre, call centre, reservations, bookings, retentions or membership sales
• Warm and calm on the phone, and good at building trust quickly
• Comfortable guiding someone to a decision without hard selling
• Commercially minded – you enjoy hitting a target, rather than dread it
• Accurate with systems and detail when the queue is busy
• Available Monday to Friday 9:00–5:30, plus one Saturday in three

Spa, salon, beauty, wellness, hospitality, travel or leisure experience is a real advantage.

Being straight with you

This role is five days a week on site – there is no hybrid or remote option. The one Saturday in three is part of the job.  It is a sales role as well as a service one: there are targets and there is commission attached to them. If you want pure admin away from a phone, this is not it.
