Child Development Teacher – Two-Term Maternity Cover

All Together Education Recruitment is seeking a Child Development Teacher for a secondary school in Warwick, starting in January 2027.

The position is maternity cover for two terms and includes teaching KS3 RSHE and RE alongside Child Development.

The role

• Plan and deliver engaging Child Development lessons.

• Teach KS3 RSHE and RE as part of the timetable.

• Adapt lessons to support pupils with different learning needs.

• Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Maintain positive relationships and consistent classroom expectations.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department.

The ideal candidate

• A recognised teaching qualification and QTS.

• Experience teaching Child Development or a closely related subject.

• Willingness to teach KS3 RSHE and RE.

• Strong planning, communication and classroom management skills.

• Availability from January 2027 for two terms.
