This is an excellent opportunity that would suit you if you have experience within buying within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Job Description

• Manage supplier relationships to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for engineering components and services.
• Support sourcing activities, supplier selection, RFQs, and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage purchasing activities relating to engineering changes and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and support reporting requirements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' purchasing experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience managing direct material suppliers and technical engineering commodities.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems.
